On behalf of the Brockton Democratic City Committee, I would
like to thank all of our attendees and sponsors for your
generous contribution to our “ Day at the Races“. Because of
concerned Democrats like yourself, the event was a huge
success and we are able to award two, $500 scholarships to
deserving young democrats.

The
Brockton Democratic City Committee
represents the progressive party that has long characterized the
people and politics of the City of Brockton. We are known as the
“City of
Champions”
not only for Rocky Marciano, Marvelous Marvin Hagler and the
talents of our award winning students, but also for our
first-rate educational system, our open and honest government,
fiscally responsible municipal management and conscientious and
committed public servants.
With a population in excess of 100,000, Brockton is the largest
city in Southeastern Massachusetts and is the only city in Plymouth
County. Brockton has more than 23,000 registered Democratic Party
voters, giving us the largest number of votes in Plymouth
County.
Democracy thrives only with the participation of every citizen.
It requires constant vigilance and dedication to make our
cities, towns, state and nation a better place for our children
and future generations.
There are many ways to get involved and participate in the
Democratic Party:
|
 |
Register to vote and vote in every Election.
|
 |
 |
Register your friends
and neighbors who support the Democratic Party, its principals
and its candidates and encourage them to vote even if it means
driving them to the polls on Election Day.
|
 |
Join Democratic
Committees at the
Local,
County,
State or
National level.
Better yet, join all four!
|
 |
Volunteer some time,
work on campaigns and help get the vote out on Election Day.
|
 |
Check in at
this website on a regular basis and
stay informed of all events and news within the Democratic
community.
Contact us if you have any questions or comments.
|
We hope you'll
join
us
in expanding a vibrant Democratic Party in Brockton and beyond.
Consider
volunteering
your time, attending one of our
upcoming
events or making a contribution.
Steve Foote, Chair
Brockton Democratic City Committee
